Hello dear readers! I hope you are all staying well. There’s been some sickness going around AFA with the changing of the seasons. But that’s not going to stop us from sharing this lovely experience with the sweetest bride and groom!

Meet Susanna and Eric
Look at these gorgeous, happy faces! The love between these two silly, sweet humans is unmatched. It was clear from the beginning that while they had desires and plans for their wedding like any couple to be married, the single more important thing to them was that by the end of the day, they were husband and wife.

It was a joy to work with them, as it was (and always is) a joy to work with the people who helped bring their day to fruition.

What was the best part of the planning process?
All your friendly faces!!! Thanks to Marie, Jordan and of course Paula ❤️❤️ you guys had such positive energy throughout. So grateful!

After getting ready (with a gorgeous view of the Casco Bay, no less) Susanna hopped in her personal ride and headed to meet Eric for the First Look.

Here’s to Siobhan Bogle at Maine Tinker for capturing this moment and ALL the moments of this day. The joy, excitement, and love are all brought to light in her work.

Soon after their first look, Susanna, Eric, and guests headed into the Ocean Gateway main space for the ceremony.
We love the Ocean Gateway for a myriad of reasons. It’s spacious, versatile. Not to mention it’s downright beautiful, inside and out. Just like Susanna and Eric!
The Ceremony Commences
With 360 degree views of the casco bay through the space’s glass windows, natural light pouring in, their loved ones looked on as Susanna and Eric professed their love for each other, forever and always.

We know it is so hard to choose- but what was your favorite part of your wedding weekend? (If you can’t choose, feel free to tell us a few!)
Honestly just getting to spend time with our favorite people. The ceremony was a HIT!!! Lindsay outdid herself. Also, food was chef’s kiss!!

Let’s Party!
Cocktail hour and the reception were both just a few steps away from where the ceremony was held- one of the biggest perks of Ocean Gateway!

While guests started up the party, Susanna and Eric went for an adventure by the water for their newlywed portraits. The red carpet was even rolled out, because why wouldn’t it be?!

Cheers To Susanna and Eric
The reception space didn’t need much (need I remind you of the glass walls providing full views of the bay!), but what was added was so romantic. Coral linens were perfectly contrasted by emerald green napkins and topped off with the sweetest, most romantic floral arrangements by Fresh Pickins Farm.

The reception was jam packed with speeches, the most romantic first dance, and good food. Shout-out to 111 Maine for serving up some fresh grub!

And what reception would be complete without dessert, wedding cake, and dancing?

Any advice for couples on their wedding day or throughout the planning process?
Have fun! Also, as long as you’re married at the end of the day, that’s all that matters.

We couldn’t be happier for you both, Susanna and Eric. Here’s to you and the love you share!
