Garden Nursery Inspired Shoot | The Barn at Flanagan Farm

Wow…after days like these it’s hard to believe that daylight savings time is just around the corner!  With the wind whipping outside my window I think warm thoughts again of this day and bringing it all together.  I’d like to thank Jamie Moody for working so hard with me to get through the set up and break down of the two separate sites, managing the props and especially my kids!  It was a doozy of a day but Sharyn sure made it look effortless.

While the little girl’s Beatrix Potter tea party took place in the fields, the barn was the perfect setting for a bridal shower.

A rustic wood trough filled with soft green succulents bring a warm welcome to the space that seemed to extend for miles through the backdrop of the rolling field viewed through the barn doors.

The guest table was adorned with crockery pots of fragrant rosemary, thyme and basil, dark green and purple lettuces, swiss chard and bowls of sweet early strawberries.  Taper candles burn a soft light inside antique brass holders.

Place cards are pinned to soft cotton gardening ribbon which hang from an indoor greenhouse filled with poppy plants, zinnias and marigolds.

A lovely coral colored chenille blanket was the backdrop to the vintage plates that sat atop twig wreath chargers.

Light blue hemstitch napkins were tied with the same grey seersucker fabric that adorned small pillows resting in the wrought iron garden chairs, making them more inviting and cozy.

A beautiful peach begonia hangs draping vines over the table, and is complimented by chicken wire vases carrying wild beach roses.
